What are LightForce braces?
LightForce™ is a fully digital, customized braces system. Here’s what makes it different from other braces:
3D-printed for each tooth: Your orthodontist designs your treatment digitally, and each bracket is 3D-printed to fit each specific tooth.
Tooth-colored and esthetic: Though there is also a newer metal braces option, the clear LightForce brackets are made of translucent ceramic, so they blend in with your teeth.
Precision placement. Your brackets arrive in a custom bonding tray that positions every bracket exactly where your orthodontist engineered.
Planned to the finish. Your orthodontist programs each tooth’s final position before treatment begins, and your custom brackets are built to carry out that plan.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Digital Scan. An intraoral scan of your teeth and bite will be taken when you are ready to start.
Custom Plan. Dr. Godley and Dr. Bradley create a digital treatment plan that is fully customized to your bite and smile needs, with tooth movements preprogrammed. The custom braces are then created for each tooth’s shape and position.
Precision Bonding. Our team will bond your braces using a custom printed tray, and secure your first arch wire. With regular visits to our office, you will see your teeth and bite shift into their programmed positions.
